27 Dresses (2008)
A very entertaining movie about a woman who is always the bridesmaid but never the bride, someone who has spent all her life trying to make other people happy. It is a tender and funny movie starring Katherine Heigl and ably directed by Anne Fletcher. If you like movies about secret love and unexpected happy endings, see this movie. 27 Dresses is a very upbeat date movie that is not too sentimental and will make you cry, laugh and get angry all at the same time. It also features a very good soundtrack right through the final credits.
27 Dresses did not do exceptionally well at the box office but that should not deter you from catching the movie on DVD. It is better than most of the drama / comedy movies released this quarter - so don't miss it.The film is rated PG-13 for language, some innuendo and sexuality and is not suitable for young children.
