Tenderness is a low key love story of a teen serial killer, Eric (Jon Foster, The Informers) . It is not a slasher movie so fans of this genre may be disappointed. In fact, the plot is so slow and low key, it is more of drama than a thriller.

I would rate the movie as a disappointment even with Russell Crowe's involvement in this film production. Crowe has a small role as a detective tracking the killer.

If you like slo-mo dramas with a weird twist in the plot, this one is for you. Don't expect any tenderness in this movie.
